i think all watches with gold bezels will have a ceramic inlay...all others will remain steel. just a guess tho.
i still really have my eyes set on the steel daytona. but i have yet to see one in the flesh.
you probably have been geeking out with all the websites...learning about all the quirks and complaints...and all the chronometer ratings and tricks to make it go faster or slower. lol
my submariner was about 6 sec slow each day...barely within chronometer standards. but after regular use (and sitting in the winder) its now more like 4 sec slow each day. i wish it were too fast instead of too slow...but hey, its still a chronometer!
In any case, ceramic or stainless, both look good.
You know me too well. Been on the Rolex Forums, reading a lot. Haven't tried any of the tricks yet, still just admiring the look.
Yeah, that steel daytona is tizight, when i got the GMT I asked if they had any. They say that those usually sell out, but they did have one in the safe reserved for their "preferred customers"...hahaha. Saw the white gold in the case tho.

youre supposed to wear it! not take pictures of it! lol
looks like all future rolexs will have the maxi dial... PIMP!
Trust me man, I've been wearing it. I heard that about the maxi dials also, but I also heard that the submariners will also sport the ceramic bezel.

very nice dome con grats!
ask them if you are one of those preferred customers now that you spent a wad with them lol rolesor GMT II is not a cheap watch!
man...your timing is impeccable...
with the dollar dropping like crazy, you can probably already sell your watch for a 2-3000 profit! not that you would do that lol
i was looking at the rolex market and my watch is already worth nearly double what I bought it for because of the weak dollar...its friggin nutso
check out www.thewatchquote.com and you will see what I'm talking about! just be sure to convert the euros to dollars and you will be like "OMFG"
OMFG is right! Thats just crazy!
